Birthdays
Each student’s birthday will be recognized throughout the school year. You are welcome to send in treats for the class. Our school has the following policies concerning treats and birthdays: Please send ONLY store bought treats (nothing homemade), red drinks are not allowed, and do not send party invitations, I will not be able to pass them out to the class. If your child has a summer birthday, we will celebrate their birthday at the end of the school year in May.
Holiday Parties in the Classroom
We have three different classroom parties throughout the year (Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine's Day). For each party, we usually have different parents volunteer to bring different items such as drinks, snacks, paper plates, napkins, etc. The parties usually take place at 2:00 on the school day closest to the holiday.
We also welcome parent volunteers to help run stations at the parties. Each volunteer will have to have a completed background check on file in the office.
