Homework

 

This year our first graders will strive to improve their skills at school.  At home they will need to support their instruction by reading and practicing our math skills and other concepts.  Each Monday students will come home with his or her Take Home Reading Bag.  They will have 4 books in there to read.  Please have the students read a book each night, mark on their sheet that they read, sign the sheet with you, and then return their reading bag on Friday. 

 

The students will also receive their "un-homework" choice sheet each week.  These choices will practice skills that we are learning in class.  You will have more information on our "un-homework" when we get started after Labor Day.
